I've got one under my TV. I was going to offer it for cheap. I too like the electrics better, even if the batteries still suck (LiPo is cool and all, but still probably doesn't have a good shelf life (winter)).
RC gas would have that same rod shown...esp the 1/4 scalers.

R/C nitro pistions are a lot smaller and dont have rings untill you get to really big R/C engines... they are compression fit[8D]and most of the R/C gas rods are knife edged to go through the fuel better... I thought everone new that gosh!! LOL if you want I can post a pic.. I might have a blowngas RC engine laying around.. I have blown enough up[:@].... I run electric now... so much cleaner...
