it all depends on if you have a auto or a manual. Because most places won't install a remote start in a manual. I found one place that did it to me focus and my contour but, it fried something in the focus so i'm a little leary about putting it in the stang. Plus the stang is parked for winter so what do I need a remote start for anyways.

yea i have a auto so should be no worries then. I park in garage for winter for sure but still have to drive it to school during winter so it would just be nice when cold or even hot for that matter(A/C). how much normally with installation. My budy with the durango put his viper in but it took him 4 days straight so i would get it installed. any ideas on how "much + installation"?

I have the ultra start remote starter. Works brilliant. If you go Viper or any other remote systems, there is no safety mechanism sop basically if you leave your car in gear, you can bet that your stang won't see sunshine for awhile. With the Ultra Start remote starter system, there are a few steps in activating "remote start" system before you get out of your car. Some simple steps for reassurance (1 step involves actually putting the gear in neutral). =)
