Mine is a march. I put a block of wood up against it and hit it with a hammer to get it started. Then used an installer tool to put it the rest of the way on. Never seemed like the key way was to small to me so you might just have a bad one.

Ok, I called march today and they said to use an installer tool. Thanks for puuting that on your installation instructions JACKA**! sorry, that just really got to me that March didn't put that on there instructions with the pulley.

I got the installer today and will install the pulley tonight.

Did you guys take out the Radiator? Or just the fan?

Thanks.

I took out neither nor needed a special tool for mine. (Steedas) I put some high-temp sealant inthe keyway, and push it on the shaft (it idnt go to far, but enough that it didnt fall out) Steeda had supplied me with a longer than stock bolt - you use that with the factory washer to get it in (19mm deep well socket and a 1/2" drive ratchet). Once it was in far enough (a 1/4" or so) you back the long bolt out, and put the factory bolt back in, then tighten with a torque wrench. Measure to 66 lb-ft, back off 1 full turn, torque to 37 lb-ft, tighten 90 degrees, and your done! took all of 10 minutes (the INSTALL part)

10 minutes eh? With this March fluid damper, I had to go out and get a hamonic balancer installer. Once I got the installer, it took a bit to get it on.

The tighter the fit the better, If you can just slide the crank pulley on and off then once the car warms up, the pulley will expand and you might have an issue with it being loose and it might wobble.

But yeah, the March Performance Crank pulley, I can definantly feel a difference. I feel way more comfortable with this pulley over that crappy BBK piggyback setup!!
