Thanks to everyone. I put the battery on the charger for a while, and though it protested a lot, it finally turned over and cranked. I guess the combination on sitting for a month and 2 quick starts ate the battery up. I guess it wanting to start this morning sent me on the wrong path. The Car Chip shows the batt voltage between 13.9-14.00, so I believe that all is well in the end.
