How often do you guys clean/re-oil your filters if you use k&n or similar style filter elements? I just cleaned mine and man it was filthy. I think the last time I cleaned it prior to this was 15,000 miles or so ago.

i clean it every 10,000-12,000 miles

Usually about once a year for me.

Mileage isn't as important as environment. If you drive on country roads all the time ya gotta clean it more often. Mine seems to stay clean enough for an anual cleanup

Depending on your conditions? You wouldn't wanna run your car for 7500 miles on the same oil if you've been beating it up around town, but you could get away with it if you drove the highway constantly! salty or dirty roads, I'd clean it twice a year! Nice day driving once every 15kmi
