I have saved many accidents, by either being able to downshift and get better traction, or actually speedup faster to get by a car....but thats not why i drive stick...if you have a stang it's got to be stick i mean come on its a sports car you got to want to drive it, and feel like your driving it..STICK ALL THE WAY!

sorry but i always got so bored with driving an automatic. A stick shift is fun and its a must for a v8 mustang. I can understand a auto for a 6er but for a high performance sports car you need a stick to have fun. Even when i was learning to drive my car i still loved the fact i had full control and how much fun it was to rev while i was rolling

It's soooo hard to beat the sound of a stick going thru the gears. Period.

And, as mentioned before, the feel of dropping from 5th to a lower gear and smoking the sh*t outta the annoying car in front of you on the interstateis pure.

STICK FTW! THEY CALL THEM SPORTSCARS FOR A REASON!!!

When I think of an auto sportscar i think of a little old grandma cruzing at 40mph in a 65!
