I was at the top of third gear doin about 70 mph and i mis-shifted and hit second instead of fourth. I blew a rod and punctured a head....and that was the exact sound it made but like ten times louder. 3,000 dollars later and my pony is back on the road with a rebuilt motor .

Might want to start looking at the rods, heads, or valves. You dont want it to blow when you are cruising. Good luck, and let us know what it is.

I had a cat-converter go out on my truck that sounded similar to that. Maybe not as loud though....def. doesnt sound good.

Well I talked with Tim at MPH this morning and he told me to bring it over Friday morning for them to check it out!
