Default MUST READ!!!! HELP!!!

Hey whats up guys' I've got a big problem... I have a 97' gt with 97000 miles on it. And just the other day something went bad. My engine started making a bad clicking noise as if their was a broken or loose internal component. I took it to a shop and they said that its probably a damaged crank and or piston(s). My choices are 1:Have the block torn apart and inspected, which in itself I hear is gonna take alot of cash, and possibly replace the damaged parts. 2:Buy a complete internal racing kit with forged pistons, crank, camshafts, stronger rods, etc. and have them put in. 3:Get an engine swap. I also hear that getting the swap might be cheaper than any other option. What should I do????? If I swap what should I get? I have about 1.5G's worth of bolt on's for my stang (which by the way WAS running 13.9 with out noz, turbo or charger) I can go with a 99' and up swap for around 2600 for a brand new complete engine? Or maybe a used 97 or 98 gt engine with over 60,000 miles? Hey maybe even a 5.0 swap? But I do have to say that the 5.0 would be my last choice, because I do love my camaro smoking 4.6. Please help me out, Thanks....

Default RE: MUST READ!!!! HELP!!!

i would just get a 99+ motor and swap it in and just use all of your bolt ons on it that seems like the best idea you mentioned
