Why not wait two weeks and get the premium, best performing setup instead of just getting by with an alternative?
Because the "premium, best performing setup" costs $2000+ and is OVERKILL for the street. The cobra fronts and a 13" rotor on the back will be more than enough, and will give you good pad life.

The "cobra swap" is just cobra calipers and 13" rotors, THAT'S IT! You re-use the caliper mounting bolts, and the stock brake line works perfectly. In fact, the cobra brake line and GT brake line have the same part number.

Buy a set of Cobra calipers for $280 (yes they can be found brand new for this cheap), and find yourself a pair of 13" rotors. I paid $75 each for my slotted and drilled rotors. Tada, instant cobra brake kit.

Edit: When braking hard or accelerating hard, a brake light that comes on means you have low fluid. Check your pads first, if they are fine, just add some extra fluid. If they need replacement, replace them and then check the fluid.

Yeah....let us know if these are good or suck. 4 drilled/slotted rotors and all pads shipped for less than 200?

They should be cracked within the month, the drilled holes do not even look chamfured. I picked up a set of bear decela rotors for 95 dollars at autozone on pricematch (fronts). These carry a three year warrenty.
