Default Forged?

Ok, I am wondering what all a forged bottem end includes? What pieces? How much (on average) for each piece? Lastly How much boost and horsepower can you push? All input is welcomed! Thanks.

pistons, rods and crank. Price depends on what company makes the parts and HP depends on alot of factors.

Yes, easily. As far as the rear end...good set of gears, Eaton posi, forged axles, rear end girdle and 3" wheel studs.

do these companies that sell forged shortblocks take any kind of core charge if you turn in your stock shortblock? because you wouldnt need it right? also, i think im goin to look into DSS because they are pretty close to where i live, and they have a "layaway" program. i could pay alittle here and there and when i have about half down they will start the project, and then i just pay the rest when i have it. i think thats pretty cool for anyone on a budget. im lookin into the 4.6 super modular forged shortblock? about how much would i be lookin at for an installl on that?
