Default Long Tube Headers...

So I'm trying to figure out if I should get a set of long tubes. I'm able to get a pretty good deal installed with a midpipe, but still don't know if it's worth the money.

I'm posting this to see what you guys think I will gain with long tubes. See my sig for my mods.

Thanks,

Jake

How much would be a good deal?.. I say if it's around $300 or less it's worth it IMO. But that depends on what kind of headers you buy. I say if you can get the headers and install for around $800 then that would be worth it.

A LT + midpipe install should see at least 20 WHP, and maybe a total of 25.. Of all the boltons that take your car from a stock 225~ to a full boltons 260-270 the LTs and midpipe make the biggest difference.,

i have long tubes and i hate them. It makes trans removal near impossible with out takeing the engine out. The stater is the main problem, it is less than a quarter inch from one of the pipes and the top bolt can not be reached. I really wish i got short tube's just because they help save space in that tight engine compartment with the 4.6. It is also atleast a 10 hour job to do the headers. I also didnt mention that if your car is lower than stock you will bottom out on all sorts of stuff. thats my 2 cents.

300 for headers and install???? lol u better be stealing the headers...even 800 is difficult just depends what brand u get. i paid 800 for my slp's and then if i dont install myself its gonna cost around 500.
