I also didnt mention that if your car is lower than stock you will bottom out on all sorts of stuff. thats my 2 cents.
It seems to be that the BBKs are the most popular LT, I had a problem with bottoming out in a previous car with LTs. Is it also a problem on a mustang lowered 1"? How are the shorties when compared to the LT performance wise?

How much would be a good deal?.. I say if it's around $300 or less it's worth it IMO. But that depends on what kind of headers you buy. I say if you can get the headers and install for around $800 then that would be worth it.
300 for headers and install???? lol u better be stealing the headers...even 800 is difficult just depends what brand u get. i paid 800 for my slp's and then if i dont install myself its gonna cost around 500.
NO, reread my post. I'msaying if intall is around $300 then he should do it. ButI would go $400 MAX if I was getting a "deal".I know that install will vary depending on shop, but he said he can get a good deal on install. And the cheapest headers are the MAC's for around $400the last time I checked. So if you he can get the headers and have them installed for $800 or less, then that would be worth it IMO.

But I don't think anything more than $800 total is worth the performance gains.
