So how do you protect your spark plug wires rom melting? wrap the spark plug wires?

who is putting this on unique whips, the guy i take my car to did my h-pipe for sixty and only wanted a hundred for the headers

 

We cant all have friends who know what they're doing, do it for cheap!

 

There are no wires. 99+ use coil on plugs. There really isnt much wiring that runs down by the header tubes anyways. Just the starter as previously mentioned.

 

the only two things you need to worry about is the starter wires and the a/c lines those run pretty close to the headers

 

So would you wrap them to protect them from the headers?

 

Yea... We're gonna get started on it today. Then hopefully we'll finish sometime in the later part of the day tomorrow. Does anyone know how many ft/lbsthe header bolts have to be torqued down? I don't want to have them too loose but then I also don't want to bust the threads. And yes.. on-post hobby shops are the shiznit..(excuse my language)
