hey. about how much do u think it will cost for me to have my cats cut out of my h-pipe?
and have a new pipe welded on? so its an O/R H-pipe.

i have a regular h-pipe on there right now with 2 cats.
am i better off to just buy an o/r h-pipe and just sell the one i have on there now?
will i make more money?

I would just buy an o/r h. They arent that expensive. Anyway you wont find any shop to cut off your cats and weld in pipes in IL unless they dont mind getting a huge fine.

I had a shop around me cut off all 4 of my cats for about $70.

I agree. Its federal law that says your car must have cats, so its gonna be hard to find a shop that will break that.

Just get an o/r pipe, they only cost around $160 and you can install it yourself.

Sure you can sell the catted H. The install isn`t that hard. The only problem area is the bolts on the passenger side manifold. But as long as you have a swivel and long extension you should be ok removing the bolts. You may want to spray the boltswith some pb blaster first.
