o.k. new problem with the pony. when i start the car in the morning, like when its 50's out. the rpm's will start to drop to idle speed, but on the way down, when the rpm's hit 1,500.a really loud humming noise comes from the engine, and it will do this for like 10sec. then the rpm's will drop a lil bit more and the humming goes away. so ill start driving and when i shift, and the rpm's hit 1500 again it will make the noise. of course as soon as i accelerate and rpm's rise, it goes away. once the car gets warmed up, it doesnt do this again.

When I had my 2000, my car did the same thing on really cold days, or when it hadn't been driven for a while..


Mine was my Powersteering pump whining... You may want to check it out..

ty, ill have to do that. yeah, it only happens when cold out or its been sittin around for a while.
