port and polish non pi heads

RE: port and polish non pi heads
i suggest you save a little. by the time you spend your money on the port and polish you could have saved up a little more and done the PI swap. you'll be happier with it too. i believe there are better choices on the intakes that go with the PI heads as well.

A good port and polish job costs around $1,000 after you factor in some valves. I'd go with the PI swap. I just bought all of the parts for a complete PI swap with all gaskets for $750 shipped.

ported NPI heads with a valve job flow as good as ported PI heads...
the big problem with staying with NPI heads is the intake choices are less. The PI intake can be adapted and a Bullit Intake can be port matched tp the NPI ported heads but you said you were low on funds so maybe finding a used pi swap is best for you as once you start getting into ported heads/cams/intake iit gets expensive.
