Does anybody know the factory cam specs, I am trying to find out if the crane cams I am getting are going to be a big difference, they are 550 lift and 254 intake 264 exhaust duration. I am hoping with tune this will be atleast 30hp increase if not may decide against, please help not to familiar with cams.

i would work on more supporting mods for a cam too.. such as gears and a catback and that kinda stuff.. maybe even headers..

I will and plan too, just doing the cam right now because all parts and custom tune are going to be free.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, I have been doing a lot of Corvette cam research, so I might be getting confused... but,

The lift is normal, but a 25x, 26x intake and duration!?!!? Is that not HUUUGGEEE? Highest Ive seen in person on a Vette is a 24x, 24x and that is a LARGE cam.

You're looking at the advertised duration I think. Look down and youll see 218/228 at .050 lift. I think those were the numbers you were looking for. Thats a mild cam, less than the VT stage 1s which are 224/226 at .050 lift. Id stick with the VTs or comp xe262ah which are 226/230 at .050 lift--if you're looking for a "stage 1" cam.
