Best HP bang for the buck?

RE: Best HP bang for the buck?
I think the hardest part of getting a 4.10 ring and pinion gear set going is finding a trustworthy shop...Is there a good "starting point" to find a good shop who would be willing to install the kit? I have no idea if I should be looking up a racing-type shop, a ford dealer, aspeciality type of garage, or what. And for the person who asked earlier, I'm in Rochester NY.

shift kit and tranny cooler quite likely will safely get you below 14.
It is a known fact that the auto with a good shift kit will always turn a faster time in the quarter then the fastest shifter on earth in a five speed.
I did a little looking around for you and found a decent looking setup by MSD for 310 on jegs. Some handheld tuners also have auto trny adjustments.
This is what I would do if you want to be able to surprise some people on the streets.
IF this sin't for you, then go with gears. I think everyone on here but you and nme have gears.
