Default question on horsepower in the gt

99 to 04 model gt says it has 260 is that to the crank or the back wheels and how much hp is usually lost thrugh the car from the enging to the back wheels. And one more question when dynoed isnt the hp and torque rating to the rear wheels?

Dyno's can give fairly accurate ratings & both the flywheel & rear wheels.

It's arguable, but everyone seems to believe the drivetrain loss in a 99-04 in a 5 speed is around 15% & automatics are upwards of 18%. Everyone has varying opinions on the matter, as you'll probably see as this thread gets more hits & posts..

Nope, I have never seen a stock GT dyno that high...more like 220-225.
