one of my coil packs has completely crapped out on me and i need to buy a new set. i was going to upgrade to the moto blue ones on rpmoutlet but also looked at american muscle. are aftermarket ones in the least bit necessary? and if they are, why are american muscle's so much more? more than $100 more expensive. what gives?

stock coils are very capable. don't believe the hype.

 

agreed, anything else is overkill unless your running high boost then it might come in handy. but it never hurts to exceed the need right

I just installed a set of Accels. Don't know if they made a difference, but the price was much better than the Granatelli's or MSD's.
