Default Gas mileage and speedometer

Just wondering if my Stang would get worse gas mileage since the speedometer inst working right. Its always off but not consitently the same. It is usually sayd I am going faster than I really am by about 15-20 MPH. Do you guys think this will make for worse gas mileage?

Was only asking because I have heard numerous people have the same problem and were told that they should replace the sensor.

There is no tie between the speedometer and the revolutions of the engine other than if you are going 70 then you are at abot 1900 rpms but thats just relative. Just because your speedometer is off doesnt mean the Tachometer is also.
