Whats a mil
they turn off your cel. because if you get a o/r pipe you wont have any cats and you will throw a code. eaither need mil eliminators or a tuner. so yes, if you get a o/r pipe you need mil eliminators.
Yea any handheld tuner would be able to turn it off. Either the SCT Xcal 2 or the Diablo Predator... I would have to say the SCT is more popular (and many say the better of the two). Also if you were getting a dyno tune for some reason, any professional tuner could turn off the sensors in a heartbeat.
I would stay away for the MILs, they are very unreliable and flat out suck. I have them, and they didn't work, which is common. I finally got an SCT tuner to fix my sensor problems.

Would any tuner solve all my problems with the o/r x pipe?

Fixing the sensors is the only problem that occurs with having an o/r x right? I mean besides like leak, smell ect.
I remember someone saying that using a tuner to get rid of the CEL didn't solve the problem when they went to get inspected. I believe he said the mechanic said that a code had been "cleared" but the problem had not been resolved therefore he couldn't pass the car. Basically the tuner made the light in the dash go away and did not eliminate the problem in the computer. Is this uncommon when using a tuner to get rid of CELs or did the guy do something wrong or what?

Yes sir. And for the record it's MPH who offers a custom performance tune with the Xcal 2. I believe its "Tim's" tune. [sm=smiley20.gif]
