I just finished changing the headgasket in my 2001 GT , when I was ready to fire up the engine for the first time I had to attach cables to the dead battery. When there was enough amps to start the engine it started to make a clicking noise while I was turning the keybefore I could fire it up, any suggestions?

now it is not cranking, i hope itis the starer, any suggestion or link

Get your battery tested. I bet the battery is bad. Now when you cranked the engine, was it a series of clicking, or just one click then nothing?

I put another battery in and still same thing. Some seem to think it is the valve, not good if it is.
