Default Car Buying

Hey guys, i'm going to go look at an 03 cobra tomorrow . It has 26,000 miles andthe guys isselling it for $25k. The only thing some random guy showed me that he just bought the car 2 weeks ago for $23k. I guess its not really a big deal? Anyways what kind of things should I look for when I check it out?

Why would he unload the car so fast, and for more than what he paid for it?

I'd pass on the deal. Sounds like he bought it and found some issues.

Look for body work, let the car get warm and see if it has the head tick. See if the differential is leaking anywhere etc etc

that does sound strange that he just bought it and now he's getting rid of it. but maybe he's just trying to make a few bucks? look through it very closely though, just in case he is trying to pull some kind of crap.

Unless he got the car for much cheaper than 23k, I doubt he is trying to make a money. $23,000 is a huge investment to gamble on only to make $2,000 & ensure the car passes inspection/30 day warranty after selling it.

I'd look the car over good, or just forget it exists. Waaaaaaay too fishy IMO...
