if a guy were to use an FRPP eaton supercharger that doesn't have an aftercooler, to run higher boost u would need some kind of a boost cooler, so could u do this with nitrous or would u have to use methanol injection

Go with methanol, cheaper than an aftercooler.Just alittle tricky to tunewith the Roots/twin screw setup.

 

Methanol injection. I've heard of people using the nitrous as a boost cooler but, 40+ dollars for a fill of a 10# bottle vs. the stuff nanaki is/was using for under a buck a gallon. Most of the nitrous used as boost cooler that I have seen are guys spraying their intercoolers with it. But still, IMO the meth injection would be best.

 

I have a 75 shot of juice going on with the Roots blower and i;m sure it does cool the air some but i just wanted a extra shot of hp for those couple times a year i hit the track. I have also thought of adding a snow methanol kit especially since you can use windshield washer fluid and that crap is cheap at walmart etc.

 

NX makes an Ntercooler for blown cars, but it only works in conjunction with an existing intercooler.

i run the cheap wiper fluid with my meth inject and picked up 50 ponies to the wheels. the tank lasts a good while too. plenty of safety features to keep your mind at ease too.

It cools down the air and [arguably] raises the octane. It does the job of an intercooler without the restriction in airflow.
