Default Friggan' MAC intake..

Well, I'm getting a new intake when I get the cash...Ever seince I got mine the car has been running rich and the think doesnt even fit properly...the heat sheild between the engine bay and fender wont go on right and the sensor next to the maf will not go in because its about 3 inches short of reaching the hole ion the tube. Why did i waste my money? I don't think it even offers any improvement over stock...for those of you in the market for an intake...stay away!

We've been selling Mac intakes for a long time and no complaints on the fitting. You might have the wrong part # as other people have mentioned.

i noticed more of a performance gain when I had my intake and tuner, so i couldnt really tell you anything with the intake alone.

Well, I guess I'm alone....haha. Maybe I did get the wrong part. I think I'm just going to get a JLT ram air intake. Hey rainydayracing...wanna buya MAC CAI from me?

You don't really notice mush of an acceleration difference from only an intake. More noticable is the better engine tone.

as for running rich, get a tune. if the intake did mess up your air-fuel, it would lean it out more then anything. or your computer could be over compensating for the increased intake air. highly doubt it tho. all intakes are like that, its a 2v. and the stock intake w/ out the silencer and with a K and N filter is just as good. i would love to have a dyno test done. stock intake setup like i said above, vs an aftermarket one.
