I put a metal slab underneath it put the pedal on that used a smaller dowl type deal just whack the hell of it, its not like your using the old pedal don't be afraid...have a some beers then go do it....it is a pita i know
I am more worried about bending the assembly than anything else. I have a drive pin for when the pin gets past the pedal, but I might just dremel the thing off and replace it with a bolt and lock nut. Anybody who has done this, do they know the size of the bolt and nut needed?
