Ok i've been wanting springs to lower my car but i want to know how much they will help like say launching my car at the track. which would be the best for this? I dont want more than 1- 1.5 drop
Unless you go with a drag spring set-up, you will probably hurt the launch. Most lowering springs are much stiffer and don't allow enough weight transfer for good 60's.
i stiff front spring would be good but backs should be soft
Actually you want just the opposite. You want a light front spring to allow the front ot rise on the launch and a stiff rear spring to plant the rear tires. I'm running a Fox-body 4 cylinder spring up front and Fox V8 spring in the rear. All springs were trimmed (cut) to get the drop I was looking for. Here's a short vid with the results.....http://videos.streetfire.net/video/6...6a009ef429.htm
