Default Intake

Hey guys my name is Joe im new to this site. I do not currently have a mustang, but my gf does. Im planning on putting an intake my gfs car she has a 2002 Mustang GT convertible. I know everything about imports, but nothing about domestic. So i was wondering whats a good intake for her car. I currently was looking into a K&N fipk, BBk, and Mac. I searched around and more and more i got confused from everybody naming all these names. Thanks alot for your help guys.

thanks guys for the quick responses. Should i go for the ram air? or the cold air intake? Im assuming cold air intake. The cold air goes into the fender does it involve cutting out anything?

Nope, fits right in. Easy install. Hardest part is reaching up and attaching filter, but even that's not too bad.

Well then you need to know this. An intake on a mustang is not like an intake on most imports. Intakes do barely anything for our cars. The only intake that seems to make an actual difference is the JLT. The ram air and cold air are both good. It's personal preference. I think the ram air is fine. Don't expect much from it though. Maybe you should look into something more like an o/r midpipe, which can be had at the same price. Your choice though.
