Tell me what i should do with a 02 Gt with lots of power. I would like to redo everything tranny back to hold the abuse. Some starting point would be nice.

Just leave the stock stuff on until you break something. The stock trans will hold up quite a while if you run nothing more sticky than a nitto dr and dont do lots of powershifting/speedshifting.

My Friend told me that powershifting will lower ur time by ALOT!! Sooo, I tried it while racing a Lightning. Beat the lightning, but in the second Race Broke my 3rd Gear, SECOND TIME powershifting. Sooo dont do it!!

I am also looking to buy a T56 or a TKO500. G/L :-)

I was talking to my buddy who works for unleashed tuning out of JAX. It is his car that i am getting ready to purchase. Cobra motor, Cobra R fuel pump, injectors, procharger, GIGANTIC front mount. The motor is in good shape, freshly put in by HP Motorsports out of JAX. The car is a 02 GT with tons of Cobra parts. But anyway, the problem lies with 3650, third gear is gone like usual. I wanted to know if I should go with the full 6 spd swap. I was told bell housing, specialty cut drive shaft, and what i dont know is whats the best way to go about the rear end. Or if anyone know where to find a "built" 3650. So far the only guys i have found is promotionpowertrain.com
