www.mustangworld.com has excellent directions with pics. I just changed my rears and shocks, no compressor needed.
I am about to start the front, again no compressor is needed. I printed the instructions for BBK progressive springs as I am using progressive Ford/Eibach springs. Easy so far. Mark
ORIGINAL: foxtrotThanks I looked at that just now. For the front I beleive you need to compress the springs to remove them from the struts???
Nope. The struts do not run through the springs. Just remove the outer tie rod end from the lower A-arm and drop the A-arm down and remove/install the springs without a compressor. I will be starting the front this coming week. Springs/struts/brake pads and steering rack bushings. The instructions I referred you to show how to do it withoug a comoressor and with. mark
i didnt install mine, but I watched one guy do the whole thing, with no compressor. Would be good to have some air tools, but you can get er done with hand tools.
