loose steering???

Default loose steering???

ok after i installed my headers. i have noticed when driving my steering wheel is a little loose. can i get a new alignment to fix this. Or when i re-attached the steering shaft i couldnt messed somethign up to cause the loose steering??

Get back under the car and check the steering shaft again. If it doesn't have any play in it then you need a new rack. It would be a hell of a coincedence that the rack went bad when you put your headers on though.

Yeah you did something or whoever did the headers did. BE SUPER CAREFUL and drive slow until it is fixed! Check the steering rack bushing bolts. Raise the car and check the tie rod ends for play and of course whatever was removed from the steering and reattached as that is likelt the place something is not right. maybe crossthreaded a bolt and it felt tight but is not. Let us know but again, please be careful! mark

alright. i did the headers myself. and i reattached the steering shaft. and everything seemed ok. i gotta work today and the only way i can get there is with my car soo i guess imma be a turtle on tha road.. oh well and ill have to check it out tomorro morning
