????While he's at it he might wanna check the IAC valve too! Why does everyone think that the crossover and IAC valves are solutions to every mustang problem there is?

Check the intake manifold where the water outlet is
+1 on the heater core, and +5055065401 on the PITA replacing it.....i had to do mine in my blazer last year, not fun, but good luck......

yea sounds like heater core. it happened to me. cost a few hundered to get it fixed, because you have to take out the whole dash
