Street KDWs verse Nitto 555 radials
The tire's I get are between these two:
1) BFG KDW II Street Tires ($262)
2) Nitto 555R Drag Radials ($189)
The BFGs should last over 25K miles I assume, and the Nittos supposedly last for 15-20K
Will the BFG street tires even compare to the Nitto drag radials as far as hooking up on the street?
I want a tire that will hook up well, and I've heard praises of both of these tires, but which is better?

RE: Street KDWs verse Nitto 555 radials
I've always heard that BFGs hook a little better, but dont last as long as Nittos. Nittos take a little more heating up to stick, but last good for a drag radial. I'm gonna go with some Nitto 555R's....what site do you know that your getting the nittos for $189 a pop? And what size? Last time i checked the cheapest for some 285/35/18 were like 250 something...

Go with nitto dr's they will be better on the street than a street tire and I run the nittos and get great traction with my 4.10s they just bite but have half the life of a normal driven tire. juat my.02
