Grey02GT, Your shift handle sits very low on the lever as compared to mine (mine has a machined ring that keeps the handle up high on the lever--see my avatar). Is yours a very latest model? I got mine in early January and the body/lever were '06 production while the handle was this year's first run.

Sprostang - got the tint done in Schaumburg at Mid-America Glass tinting. Great place, had it done in about 2.5 hours. Very happy with it.
Right now I love the 20%, came out darker then I thought it would be
Cliffy - I see what your sayin, took me a second. I acctually took the picture before I put the dust boot back on with the ring. So my handle sits at the same level as in your picture.
Defintely cant wait for this weekend to come with some warmer weather. gotta get her out and stretch the legs.
yourmom - what area are you from?

in Mississippi, i dunno about anywhere else, its ok to have everything but the two front windows tinted dark. i have 5% on my cars. all i do is roll my windows down when i go to get my sticker. Just find the most backwoods shop you can that does that and get them to do it. My buddy does work at the place where i go so im sure that has something to do with it because i could spray paint my windows and he wouldnt care. but i have been to other places and just rolled my window down to pass inspection.

I love my new MGW shifter and by the way Cliff, I did the shift boot mod like yours and I love it to death....you should make templates and put instructions with it and sell it to people...you could make some $$$$ ...maybe
