Default Quick question

for all of you guys with a short throw and TR-3650 tranny, im getting a tri-ax next week for my birthday, and im just wondering if you guys set the stops on the shifter itself. i know the TR-3650 has built in stops and all, and i read that its actually bad to use the ones on the shifter. should i set em anyways just as a backup, or no.

my friend has an 03 GT that we put a shifter on, and i'd recommend adjusting the stops on the shifter as well.

think about it, its maybe 4-5 minutes for a little bit of added insurance.

...plus you can rip it really hard on the 1-2 and 3-4 upshifts without having to worry.

just my $.02

You can use the stops! It will stop you from breakin stuf..lol
You want to put the shifter in gear and put slight pressure on the ****...you tighten the stoppers so they are just toughing! Do that for all the gears and you'll be good to slam that shifter into any gear!
