First mods completed on the cobra

RE: First mods completed on the cobra
Sorry it took me so long to get back on here... I cut the holes in the blanket enough now to put it back on and still have the vents completely exposed to extract the hot air. But since the under part of my hood is painted, I'm just gonna leave it off for a little while and see how it does. Where I cut the blanket, there are some frayed parts that need to be covered, so if I put the blanket back on, I will get like some type of outer liner and go around the holes to make it look neater and so nothing will fall down on my motor.
I talked to a few guys about this mod, and none of them had bad things to say about this. No water issues and no paint issues. Just a cheap easy mod to start off with since the Eaton starts becoming an oven after awhile.
PWorld... the letters I took off were vinyl. I just used a hair dryer and they pretty much peeled right off. As for the stainless steel inserts, I cleaned the bumper and used Goo Gone to make sure no more adhesive was still left in the letters. My ss inserts look good, but my O is off by 1/18 inch or less. You really can't tell unless you are down and eye level with it and trying to look for it. So all in all it was a success. And by the way with the blanket gone... you can deffinetly hear the supercharger a lil more now .
The MGW should be in the car in the next 2 weeks... I'll probablyhave ZW99GT or somebody to come help me install it so I can learn some from someone who has a lil bit more experience than I do lol. I'll post pics of what I done last night on Sunday.

Coo bro. I have the SS bumper inserts. They look good and I like them, but I wanna get the black chrome ones. Theyjust recently came out with those.I think they would look a lot more distinctive on a cloudy day than the SS ones do. But that's on my silver car. Your SS inserts ona black caris the best looking Combo IMO.

My biggest plan for the cobra is to go with the 2.3L Whipple with some cooling and suspension supporting mods. That should easily put me over 500 rwhp and maybe even 525 rwhp. If I decide to go with the 3.25 upper pulley, I could possibly see 600 rwhp. We'll see how things go from now but I expect to be Whippled by next April.
