my car is a 2001 mustang gt with mac cai and flowmaster exhaust with 87500 miles
it was a mustang dyno but i was still dissapointed in the numbers
before tune
201 hp (cut rpms at about 4500 was still climbing)
240ft*lbs
aftere tune
226 hp @5000rpm
261ft*lbs @4200rpm
it was a club event and everyone was a little low. 05 gto only making 280hp, built 12 second dodge ram made 350 hp.
i was running low 14's before, and hopfully i can break into the 13's with the extra power

RE: went to the dyno
nope it's a 5 speed. i think the dyno was just reading lower than it should have, my friend with the 05 gto got dynoed last year at 290hp, he then added a cai and h pipe and lost 10 hp from last year.
figuring 15% driveline loss that puts his engine at 320 hp, they're rated at 350 at the crank.
i was run 14.1's on street tires which is about right for a stock convertable. unless i'm an amazing driver, which i'm not, i dont think that would be possible for a 200hp convertable

RE: went to the dyno
As Code's post said last week. A dyno is a tool, the overall number does not matter. What matters is that when you left you were making 10% more power. The peak number varies greatly from dyno to dyno. If the dyno said you had 400HP would you be happier?
