I haven't been been to the track before, and I haven't ran DR's at all...

Soooo...can't you just launch at a higher RPM to prevent bogging?

with an auto, your limited to how high you can launch...unless you do a stall
Yeah I know, but what is the stock stall? Around 2K's right?

so instead of DR's would it be a wise move to just some good regular street tires? 2.0 60fts are the goal here....if so what kind? would 275's still be a good size?

Street driving is the same, no big diff. there. The tranny cooler is Ford Racing. As long as you stay away from TCI you'll be alright.

I have bfgs on my auto...the best 60 i can get is a 2.1....it will also bog if he launches it to low, I try to launch at around 1400 anything lower it will bog
damn thats **** poor, how heavy are they compared to say a regular street tires? i was able to nail some 2.0's on regular street tires
yeah i get 2.1s with off brand 245/45/17 street tires all day...and sometimes 2.0s
