it doesn't really matter but all i can see is that with rai you are getting air from the engine bay and cai from the fender well. the fender well may be a little cooler
Doesn't matter??huh Why would a ram air be getting air from the engine bay??? If you look at the March system it drops below into the bumper! I have a custom made kit I did myself that only gets air from the front of the car It's called a TRUE ram air! I never drive my car in the rain so it doesn't make a diff. Also you would be surprised how much air your engine actually takes in. If you think about it how much air goes out your tailpipes??? All that comes through your intake!

OHH and yes the metal can heat up the air..Surely it's only a few degrees, but what does everybody say....oh yes Every little bit counts!
