Default Headers worth it, or just Catback??

Question: I've started work on my 00 GT with the bolt ons (intake, throttle body spacer, and pullies) and I'm on the fence if it's worth it to get the headers AND exahust or just the exahust?

Please help!!

if you mean Long tube headers, your going to need a midpipe anyway, and if your doing shorties then no they arent worth it

I don't think I'll be doin long tubes. From what I've read on here, they are a bitch to install and you have to screw with them agian if you have to pull your transmission for any reason. If I had enough money to pay someone else to do the install, and I could afford to pay someone to pull my tranny to put in a new clutch and rear main seal or anything else that may go wrong with my weak-assed T-45, then I would have Hookers on there tomorrow.

Thanks for the input. I think we have the same car...except I've got the white convert. So you'd day Hooker exhaust? I was looking at the cat back Flowmaster (http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/pr...227104bf91c67f)

What about Gibson?

I was just talkin Hooker headers. I'll probably do magnapacs for catback. Check out the soundclips they have on this site and others if you haven't already done so. I really had'nt heard of Gibson. I'll check out your link.

Cat-backs will only give a few more hp. A full exhaust with long tube headers would probably give you 25-30 rwhp.
