he Seperntine belt whine and fixing tear on top
Just bought a 94 Conv. 3.8L, 125k miles. Looks reall clean, inside and out. It's got a whine from the seperntine belt. Episodic. Not all the time. Salesman said it hadnt been run in 3 weeks and to spray WD40 on it. Could it be the tensioner? Belt wearing out?
Second questions. The top has two small 1/2 tears, by the bottom right and left trunk area. What's the best way to repair them, besides replacing the top. Boat shop, canvas repair patch with glue?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
