has anyone here ever done this themselves? i want to replace the tan with black. i am very mechanically inclined but would like any advice i can get first.

I did one a Caviler a few month ago. There all basically the same concept. I didn't find it as hard as everyone makes it out to be. The top I bought came with really good instructions and I took pictures of the areas that I thought I would need to remember how they went. Also I'm not sure if they use staples on the Mustang top but if they do get a good staple gun. I bought an electric one that I thought would do the job and it had trouble getting the staples into the tack strips.
