Default SN95 and Nitrous vs. 05 GT Bolt-On

I was at the track last Wed in Sacramento. I have a 2005 full bolt GT, and was running 12.7-12.9 all night. One of my runs was against a 2001-2004 new edge GT, and he really surprised me.

He ran a 12.4@114 to my 12.8@110, and beat me to the line by just over a car length despite me having him through the 1/8. I asked him afterwards what was done because that was the first new edge I'd ever lost to. He said casually, "Oh, ya know, just the basic bolt ons and some nitrous." I asked him how big a shot, and he said it was a 100 wet shot. I have a couple questions about it though:

1) How big of a shot can you guys run safely on a non-built-up 2v?
2) He had a dial-in of 11.9, and his 12.4 was one of the bad runs on the night, so wtf else did he have done in terms of bolt ons?
3) Was he telling the truth?

I was very impressed to say the least, and surprised at him running as high or higher traps than I'd ever seen a 75-125 shot S197 run before.

100 shot isnt that bad. Maybe 150, but its pushin it. 11's arent out of the question for a 350rwhp 400ft/lb car (thats at the very least).........
If you can hit 110, then he should be able to beat that by a bit.
