You guys have to look at the time period that the C4 came into production. Enviromental issues, gas prices ect ect. That is the same period when the Mustang II came about. More about econmony than power.

my 'ol man had a '86 vette, pretty much a complete turd, little brother wiped it out while messing with a stang on a semi-winding road while it was "only drizzling", so then came the zr1, wasnt too impressed with it, it did outrun my little bro in his 87 gt ttop..........then again, i have never driven a new(er) vette, im sure there is no comparison, still like stangs more
