As far as running through a quarter tank quickly, they seem to do that once it drops under the full line. From a full tank my gauge doesn't move until after like 45 miles, then after that, the needle drops pretty fast down to like a half. Then it moves like normal again.

I filled it up this morning, and all the way to UB (15 miles), it stayed full. Then when i left i noticed it dropped to like, 1/16th empty.
Then when driving again, it dropped another 1/8th in 10 miles. [&:][:@] I go into the store, do my shoppin. When i come back out and start the car, it magically jumps back up a bit!! This is nuts. I wanna know my mpg!!
