Could you do this with a keyless entry remote that is already programmed to another Ford car? Say a focus?

Man, that sucks. So I'm going to have to pay over 140$ for one more key then I really need.

The remote doesn't have anything to do with the key. Your key has a computerchip in it.

just don't lose your one key. buy an extra remote($15-$20) for your car so you can get in your car if you lock your keys in it.
