Thanks
Now I feel better.
Standing on the side of the road with a hole in the block of a brand motor I felt quit alone and quit stupid

Haha, dont worry about it; i thought I blew my engine yesterday at the track... its not a real good feeling.

I have no experience with turbos first hand, but I've heard bad things about them on stock engines, due to the fact that they arent as predicatable as superchargers. Just forge the engine and youll have a fast car.

Thanks

all i know is when i had my car tuned, they went through all the gears.. when i had it dynoed, they shut the overdrive off, theres no reason to try to measure HP and torque in OD.. wtf was that shop thinking

There's actually NO reason the have it in 5th gear. People dyno cars in 4th because of the tranny ratio 1:1
So if you had 373's in your car, likeI do,the tranny ratio is no longer 1:1.
Does thast make the dyno numbers read higher?
I am wondering because I just had the Novi 2000 installed, and I thought my car dyno'ed higher then I thought it should.
It put down 411rwhp, 385lb ft torque.
That just seems high to me.

Have you checked out RWTD??? They are in Mobile, AL. and I will be taking my car there when it comes time to strap her down on the dyno
