RE: Any body ever heard of this?
Ford celebrated its 100th Anniversary in June of 2003, and made limited edition F-Series Super Duty trucks, Explorers, Tauruses, Focuses, and Mustang GTs to commemorate the event. The 100th Anniversary models only came in black, and included Premium Verona-grain Imola leather seating surfaces in two-tone parchment, and the Mustang got the GT premium package which included 17" wheels, anti-lock brakes and traction control; dual exhaust; power driver's seat with power lumbar support; leather-wrapped steering wheel; and Mach 460 AM/FM Stereo with six-disc CD changer, as well as 100th Anniversary badges on the fender and decklid and embossed on the seats. The Centennial Package was a $995 upgrade. Ford made 717 coupes and 1,323 convertibles.

Basically it's a loaded premium Mustang GT with a sport suspension (the vert).
If you do any lowering or suspension work you have to make sure the kit you get is for the Vert.
I paid $16k for mine with 16k miles on it when I bought it last October.
Car I bought was absolute mint.
FWIW it's a great car IMHO!

The leather seats are different in the centennial.
The type of leather is a different kind than the standard leather seats used that year.
Also mine has a Mach 1000 not the 460.
Other than the badging on the seats and outside the car, it's a loaded premium GT in all other respects.
I get a lot of strange looks from Mustang owners who can't figure out what kind of Mustang it is.
They see the exhaust pipes, but yet don't see a GT badge so they walk away shaking their heads.
Kinda funny.
