I am going to change my surpentine belt right now.. But on my tentioner.. what do i need to put in there?? IN the little hole. I dont feel like going to auto zone to pick up a belt tensioner tool.... I know i can put something in there but what size?? Any Help?? 98 GT Mustang

 

1/2" drive rachet

 

Its a 3/8 ratchet. 1/2 is too big.

 

Can I use anything beside that?? I dont have one

 

Borrow one from someone or autozone. They loan tools for free.

You can do it right there in the parking lot. It only takes like 2 minutes to do the job.
